In case of snow or inclement weather which makes trave! hazardous, listen to radio or television for announcements concerning the Guilford County schools. We will follow the Guilford County School system's schedule for openings. If the schools are opening one hour late we will open one half hour late (9:30). If they open two hours late we will open one hour late (10:00). In the later instance some of our staff may arrive close to the opening of our program, (due to their children leaving for school later) In this case please stay with your child in the classroom if the teacher has not arrived. 

The CEC will close IMMEDIATELY at the announcement of the Guilford County School system closing earlier than 1:00 (our normal dismissal time). Please pick up your child at the CEC prior to picking up your school age child as our staff must also leave to pick up their children.
