To receive information about General Education (Sunday school, curriculum, etc.), Children's Ministry (Bible school, camps, KIDS Group, etc.), Adult Sunday school, Family Life (Welcome Wednesday, socials, etc.), Older Adult Groups (Prime Timers, 55+ Trips), or committees relating to these programs, please contact Anne Dooley.

I am blessed to be in ministry at Christ Church in Christian Education. Specifically, I work with Childrens Ministry, Family Life, Welcome Wednesday, Older Adults, and Adult Sunday School. We provide many opportunities for growth, nurture & fellowship  as a community and as small groups.

This is my twenty ninth year in Christian Education (twenty sixth at Christ Church). Fifty percent of my time is spent with our creative Children’s ministry. As an example of our programming, we have an attendance of 220 children at Vacation Bible School every year, with that same number of volunteers working with this ministry. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people in our many facets of educational ministry.

My hobbies include: going to my High School daughter and son’s sports events, playing a little tennis, and going out to lunch and walks with friends.  Christ Church is my home, and I am honored to be part of this church family, along with my husband and children.

I am pleased to join the Christ Church staff as Director of the Encounter middle school after school and enrichment program.  This program will allow students the opportunity to engage the global community with a focus on enrichment opportunities that empower them to be good citizens.

I have a heart for students and the unique challenges that teens face in the 21st century. At this time of rapid globalization, we recognize that students who acquire critical analysis skills are properly educated about the different cultures they encounter. My educational and professional background has primarily focused on working with children and teenagers. My passion is to educate America's young citizens with a focus on cultural sensitivity to the diverse ethnic and religious communities within the Triad and as far as their path may lead.

We have been happy to make Greensboro our home for the past 10 years. The Triad has a rich heritage to explore. This program will offer a unique service to our community. Please feel free to contact me about how you could partner with Encounter.
