The Fisk Organ

The pipe organ in the Sanctuary of Christ Church, Charles Fisk's Op.82, was one of the last instruments which Mr. Fisk himself voiced before his death. Finished in 1982, the organ is a rich and powerful synthesis of French and Germanic organ building styles. In addition to its ability to set forth a wide range of solo organ literature with an unusually high level of authenticity, it speaks in a marvelous manner week-by-week as it leads in congregational song and accompanies the choirs and various liturgical acts of the congregation and clergy.

The organ stoplist and a statement by Mr. Fisk about the organ are available here.
