Christ Church Recorder Consort

This ensemble includes beginning and intermediate recorder players that play in worship, for Welcome Wednesdays, and other outside events and churches, as well as a Christmas concert with the handbell choirs.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Christ Church Flute Choir

This instrumental choir consists of high school and adult church and non-church members and includes piccolo, c flute, alto and bass flutes. This group plays for worship services at Christ Church, other churches and at retirement homes.
Rehearsals: Sundays, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 

New Horizon Band

This band of instrumentalists and vocalists provide music for the 8:45 a.m. New Horizon Worship service on Sundays. They also participate in special services throughout the year. Contact Lynn Gordon for more details at 336-299-1571, ext. 302 or email.

Spark Band

This band of instrumentalists and vocalists provide music for the 11:15am Spark Worship service on Sundays. Click here for more details.

Other Instrumental Ensembles

Additional instrumental groups are often assembled to participate in worship and fellowship activities; these include Brass and Woodwind ensembles, jazz/Dixieland combos, and occasional solo instrumentalists. Anyone who is interested in these groups is encouraged to contact the music staff.
