Program Objectives

• To provide a warm, safe, nurturing, homelike atmosphere in which each child can develop a feeling of self worth.
• To give each child an opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually to the best of his her ability.
• To promote Christian-Judeo valuses and relate these values to the world around us.

Program Information

Kids Ahead is open to kindergarten through 5th grade students. Hours of operation are from 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. during regular school days of the Guilford County School System. All day care is available on teacher workdays, during Spring Break, inclement weather days, and some Christmas vacation days from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. The program occupies rooms 202, 204, 205, 207, 209, 211, and the gym of Christ Church. Teachers are dedicated to providing a nurturing, small group environment made possible with the low teacher/student ratio of one to nine.  

Financial Assistance

A limited number of partial scholarships are available for families with demonstrated financial need.

Activities for Kids Ahead children are varied and are designed to meet the needs and enjoyment of each child.
