• Is Spark Worship for Me? 

SPARK is for anyone looking for a worship service that "ignites" in them the passion for praising God in a casual, upbeat atmosphere that includes powerful music, vibrant community and rich multimedia.  In other words, this isn't your Grandma's church service.  While SPARK welcomes all ages, our main crowd consists of youth, young adults, and younger families. 

• When is the Spark worship service?

SPARK worship happens every Sunday morning at 11:15am.

• Christ Church is a big place. Where does Spark meet?

SPARK worship meets in the Fellowship Center of Christ United Methodist Church. When you come in the front doors into our gathering space, the Fellowship Center is located to the right through the set of double doors.  Hosts will be on hand to point you in the right direction.

• What can I expect at a typical Spark service?

When you walk into the Fellowship Center for a SPARK service, you'll find a casual atmosphere with individual comfy chairs, free coffee and snacks (in case you missed breakfast), and a chance to meet and chat with new friends. During the first half of the service, our band will lead the crowd in high-energy, rockin' praise music.  Feel like singing along? You can thanks to a large media screen displaying lyrics.  Worship is enhanced with prayer, scripture readings and rich multimedia like video and creative presentations. The second half of the service includes a message given by one of our three pastors that promises to be relevant to every day living. The service will conclude with more music to send you out with a sense of hope and excitement for the week ahead.

• What should I wear to Spark?

There's no dress code at SPARK!  Come as you are.

• What does Spark offer for children?

Families with children of all ages are welcome to attend SPARK together. However, we do offer KidSPARK as a worship opportunity for children in Kindergarten through 4th Grade. Click here for more details. A nursery is also provided for infants through 4 year olds.
