Stephen Ministry

Bear One Another's Burdens...

In Galatians 6, Paul tells us to "carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Here at Christ Church, our Stephen Ministers have been trained and organized to do just that. They provide one-to-one care, prayer, and support to those who are going through a difficult time. Read on for more information about Stephen Ministry at Christ Church and who you can contact to receive such care.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love
of God that is in Jesus Christ our Lord." -- Romans:8:38-39

Stephen Ministry at Christ Church

Stephen Ministry has been offered at Christ Church since 1990. Click here to read more about how this important caring ministry was established at our church and the principles behind the program that has helped so many.

Stephen Ministers seek to establish a personal caring relationship with the care receiver to whom they are assigned.  They meet with their assigned individual weekly for approximately 6 months or for the length of time the care receiver and Stephen Minister agree upon.
