Our Spring Food Driv at the Harris Teeter at the Shops at Friendly will be Friday and Saturday, April 21-22. All food collected goes to Greensboro Urban Ministry to support families in need who are food deprived.

Join our United Methodist Women on Tuesday, March 28, to hear about their partnership with Hampton Elementary School and other local efforts for improving childhood literacy. The evening’s speakers are Jean Pudlo, Associate Director of Reading Connections, andThyais Maxwell, Principal at Hampton Elementary School. Jean Pudlo’s presentation isentitled “Each One Teach One: Working in Adult Literacy over the Years.” Thyais Maxwell will share how the UMW’s efforts with literacy at Hampton have contributed to the success of students and staff. Registration begins at 5:45pm; dinner will be served at 6:15pm. Cost is $10 (to be paid at the door).

Please join us for the 13th Annual Hot Dog Lunch on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Hot dogs and all of the trimmings will be served in the gym from 11am–1pm. Come support our children as they raise funds to benefit "Hampton Elementary School." The goal is to give each child at the school two books.

All fathers and daughters are invited to a semi-formal father-daughter dance hosted in the CUMC Youth Building. Tickets are $20 for father/daughter pair and $5 for each additional daughter.
