Join other women of all ages and stages of life for Encircle, an overnight women’s retreat! Encircle is a time to gather in community and to discover ways of prayer and renewal.
Saturday, April 22, 2017, 10am – Sunday, April 23, 11am
The Summit at Haw River State Park (About a half-hour drive from Christ Church)
Our theme this year is "Beautifully Rooted" and will feature two guest speakers: Dr. Carole Stoneking, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at High Point University and Charlene Pell, Founder of the nonprofit Facing Forward, Inc. Encircle is a time to get away from everyday stresses and gather with other sisters in Christ to worship, learn and grow, make friends, have fun and renew our souls.
We'll have times of worship, eat some good food and have fun (a movie with s'mores and a pajama party!) and have optional activities such as prayer-walking nature trails, walking the labyrinth, and participating in some creative options with Mona Flynn.
The Summit is a beautiful retreat center that has motel style bedrooms with private adjoining bathrooms. Staying in a cabin with a shared bathroom or commuting is also an option.
