Our March 20 concert for Music for a Great Space marks the return of Edie Johnson, whose first organ lessons were given by our former organist, Johnny Bradburn, on our Fisk Organ. Edie is also the daughter of Alice Ann Johnson, Director of Music at West Market Street UMC here in Greensboro. Edie has been a recitalist at regional and national conventions of the American Guild of Organists and is now on the faculty of the University of Tennessee and organist of Church Street United Methodist Church in Knoxville. She will play an exciting program of works by Brahms, Bach, Langlais, and others. As usual, CUMC members can purchase discounted tickets for $12 at the door, and each individual ticket allows two students, sixteen years old or younger, to attend free. Invite your friends!
