"Annual UMW Sister Supper"

All women are invited!

All women are invited to attend the annual United Methodist Women's Sister Supper on Tuesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Center. Come for dinner and stay to hear a presentation by special guest Pamela King Cable, author of "Southern Fried Women," a collection of short stories. Tickets ($10 for dinner and show) are available through the church office.

Like everything we do at Christ UMC, the purpose of this website is to Make Disciples for Jesus Christ. We attempt to achieve that goal by being a place where the gospel of Jesus Christ is encountered, embraced and embodied. Here you can encounter the gospel through powerful and passionate sermons that are bible based but relevant to living in today’s world. You can embrace the gospel by sharing in an interactive bible study through email. You can embody the gospel by using your computer to share the good news you find here with others.

We are excited to offer you this tool for Christian growth but the best way to discover how God is working in and through the people of Christ UMC is to come and join us in person. Technology is great …. But it can’t take the place of a warm handshake or a friendly smile. You’ll find both at Christ. Come and join the family as we encounter, embrace and embody the gospel together.
