Circle 5 will meet on Tuesday, March 17, at 7pm in the Parlor. Rick Brown will present an informative program on Helping Hands for Hunger (HHH). HHH, a mission program here at CUMC, packages and sends lifesaving, nutritious food packets to starving children around the world. Guests are welcome to join Circle 5 as we find out more about HHH and its upcoming meal packaging event at CUMC on April 18, 2015. 

Circle 4 will meet Tuesday, March 10, with social time beginning at 10:15am and business meeting at 10:30am. Pastor Mike Bailey will present the program: “The State of the Church: A Holy Conversation”. Location: Friends Home West (FHW), 6100 W. Friendly Ave., Wellness Center. Directions from CUMC: Proceed to West Friendly Ave.; Pass Guilford College intersection; Next stop light turn Right (FHW sign); Proceed left to just past Building 1000; next building on your right is Welcome Center. Park in front of building, or in Building 5000 parking. Enter through sliding glass doors marked “Welcome Center”. Room is on the right. 

UMW Scholarships are available to Bennett College, Brevard College, Greensboro College, High Point University, and Pfeiffer University for students of United Methodist Church members who live within the Western North Carolina Conference. The students must pursue an academic course leading to a church-related vocation, other than ordained ministry.
