Day Camp Recap

We had a very special week of Day Camp the week of July 14! Fifty-two people (thirty-four younger elementary children and eighteen workers) from Christ Church enjoyed Day Camp, experiencing being “Partners in God’s Creation” together. We especially thank our four group leaders, Laura Grady, Paula Hargrove, Sally Lewis, and Gloria Thornton, bus driver and photographer Terry Rankin, and square dance leader Liz Kelleher, her assistant Helen Phillips, along with teen helpers. We focused on being partners with God in Creation, with each other, around the world, and in sharing the Good News. We had time to explore our United Methodist District Camp Guilrock, making new friends, studying God’s Word, creating crafts, and having a blast together as God’s loved children.  The favorite new things this year were square and circle dancing (as partners) and making homemade ice cream in a bag!

It was a joy being “Partners in God’s Creation” last week! Let’s continue on being God’s partners in all that we do!

With appreciation for all of our workers and Day Camp children,
