Worship Services

Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy. -Exodus 2:8

The heart of any congregation is worship. Christ Church offers four different services of worship through which we open our hearts, minds, souls, and lives to the power of the Holy Spirit.  If you have questions related to our worship services or would like to learn more, please contact us.

Childcare is provided for all services and during the Sunday school hour. Learn about our Children's Worship opportunities

Traditional Worship

8:30am and 11am (Sanctuary)

Christ Church proudly offers two traditional services every Sunday. At our 8:30am service, the congregation has a few minutes before the service to sing stanzas from “old favorite” hymns, which they request on the spot. The 11am service is frequently chosen for baptisms and confirmations because of the beauty of the Sanctuary and its spacious seating.

In our traditional services, Holy Communion is generally celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. In addition, Communion is celebrated at our holiday services, like Christmas Eve and on Maundy Thursday.

Contemporary Worship

Awakening 9am (Fellowship Center)

Awakening is a contemporary, casual service that builds on the traditions of the church to create a new worship experience. We worship in ways that are familiar—such as through the Lord’s Prayer and historical creeds—and in ways that are new—such as through videos that tell the story of God and invite us to be a part of that story. This service offers translation in Koho (a Vietnamese dialect).

Spark 11:15am (Fellowship Center)

Featuring contemporary worship that will ignite a passion for praising God, Spark is a casual but upbeat service that includes powerful music by a contemporary worship band, vibrant community, and rich multimedia sure to engage both the new and seasoned worshipper.
