Health & Wellness Ministry

At Christ Church, we encourage wellness on many levels: spiritual, emotional, as well as physical. Our congregational nurse, Vicki Williford, promotes issues related to health and wellness, and supports several wellness opportunities at Christ Church, including the following:

  • Yoga/Exercise Classes
  • Health Fairs
  • Support for Aging Issues (blood pressure checks, hearing clinics, wellness visits, etc.)

Simply Fit Exercise Class

Day: Tuesdays/Thursdays

Lifefit Yoga Classes

Yoga and exercise classes are offered at Christ Church throughout the year. The spirituality of yoga in a church setting can be all the more restorative! Classes are taught by Mona Flynn, CUMC member and owner of LifeFit, Inc.

Cost is $80 per 8-week session, $40–$50 per mini session, and $12 to drop in on any one class. Space is limited, so all classes require advance registration. To register or learn more, visit LifeFit Yoga's website or contact Mona.
