Sundays at Christ Greensboro
We love having your children with us at Christ Greensboro! On Sundays, all children should be checked in prior to participating in ChristKids' Ministries. Infants to kindergarteners may be dropped off in the Nursery (Room 111 + 113) 15 minutes prior to worship. ChristKids 1st-5th Grade can remain in worship with their families or head to ChristKids worship after ChristKids Time. The first Sunday of each month is Family First Sunday and 1st Grade and older remain in worship. Be sure to visit the worship wall for activities to be used during worship. In both worship spaces, we have a Prayground for you and your family, as an option for those who may need a place to get wiggles out and still be engaged in worship. Our Prayground is designed to foster a sense of reverence and spiritual connection for children and their families. It is a space where little hearts can engage in worship, learn about faith, and strengthen familial bonds. To maintain the sanctity of our Prayground, we kindly request your continued supervision while your children quietly play and worship. Your guidance ensures that the Prayground remains a space of worship for all.
Christ Greensboro supports children's faith development in a variety of ways that are tailored to their age and developmental stage. Here are some examples:
Age-appropriate Bible stories: Christ Greensboro provides age-appropriate Bible stories to children through Sunday which allows children to learn about God's love and teachings in a way that is understandable and relatable to them.
Music: Christ Greensboro incorporates music into children's faith development by providing opportunities for children to participate in children’s choir, sing during worship services, and listen to songs that reinforce biblical messages.
Worship: Christ Greensboro provides opportunities for children to participate in worship services that are tailored to their age and developmental stage. This allows children to experience the joy and wonder of worship in a way that is meaningful to them.
Family events: Christ Greensboro provides family events that encourage parents and children to learn and grow in their faith together. These events can include family retreats, service projects, and special worship services that are designed to strengthen families and build community.
Sunday School • 3 yr olds - 5th Grade, Sundays, 9:45-10:45 am. Large Group Bible Story & Prayer is from 10 - 10:10 am, and then ChristKids break out into small groups for a deeper dive into the story through games, discussion, creative worship, prayer, and more!
