Spiritual Practices Ministry

Spiritual Formation is a process of being conformed to the image of Christ, a journey into becoming persons of compassion, persons who forgive, persons who care deeply for others and the world, persons who offer themselves to God to become agents of divine grace in the lives of others and their world – in brief, persons who love and serve as Jesus did." ~ Invitation to a Journey by M. Robert Mulholland, Jr.

 Our purpose and Vision:

To create educational and experiential offerings (retreats, worship experiences, workshops, classes) that encourage contemplative practices which deepen the spiritual journeys of those who participate.

See below for resources that can assist you in your journey of spiritual growth.

The Christ Church Labyrinth

We invite you to explore the labyrinth and consider adding this contemplative spiritual practice to enhance your walk with God. The CUMC Labyrinth is open to everyone to walk at any time. However, please note there are times the patio/labyrinth area is regularly used by the CUMC Childhood Enrichment Center, Kids Ahead and other groups within the church as well as community groups that reserve the space. If the labyrinth/patio area is occupied, please return another time.  To learn more about the labyrinth or to schedule a walk for your group, please contact Ellen Lloyd at EllenBLloyd@gmail.com.
