Garrett is responsible for overseeing the youth program, missions, and the technology of modern worship. He grew up in the Piedmont and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (BS Bio) and Duke Divinity School (MDiv). In his first 6 years of ministry he served as the senior pastor of several United Methodist Churches where he started multiple youth programs. Through his mission work he focuses on reconciliation, partnerships with local nonprofits, and building a more inclusive community of faith. Garrett is married to Samantha, who is a Physician’s Assistant in the area. They have three children.
