Katey is responsible for overseeing adult discipleship, missions and spiritual practices in addition to our Confirmation Class and the South Carolina Mission Team. She grew up in the Greensboro/Jamestown area, mostly in the halls of Christ Church. She has a degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and a Masters in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity. She is a Deacon in the United Methodist Church.

Katey is married to J.D. Galyon. They share two dogs, Gertey and Ruthey, and are expecting their first child in July!
