Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.
—Exodus 2:8

The heart of any congregation is worship. Christ Church offers four different services of worship through which we open our hearts, minds, souls, and lives to the power of the Holy Spirit. If you have questions related to our worship services or would like to learn more, please contact us.

Childcare is provided for infants through preschoolers during all worship services.

Holden Road Campus

traditional worship

Sundays | 8:45am & 11am
The 8:45 service offers traditional liturgy in a more relaxed and casual atmosphere and includes a wide variety of musical styles by the choir and in the congregational singing. The 11am service offers a more formal style of worship, with choir processions, acolytes and crucifers, and music more classical in nature. Communion is celebrated in both services on the first Sunday of each month. Our 11am traditional service is broadcast live each Sunday on Christ Church Radio WDFC 101.7 FM.

Both traditional worship services are held in our Sanctuary.

contemporary worship

Sundays | 9am & 11:15am
At 9am and 11:15am, our contemporary services feature vibrant music, multimedia, and a welcoming, casual atmosphere, along with liturgical and modern elements. Our 9am service offers translation in Koho (a Vietnamese dialect). Communion is celebrated in both services on the first Sunday of each month.

Both contemporary worship services are held in our Fellowship Center.

Monday night worship

Mondays | 6:30pm

Our Monday Night Worship service is designed for the attendee that desires a casual atmosphere with great music away from the business of the weekend. The service features the same message share by our pastors on Sunday morning.

Monday Night Worship is held in our Fellowship Center.

Mondays | 6:00pm
Seeking God’s presence in your life? Looking for life after a loss? Inspired by the the Jewish Shiva, this 20-minute prayer service includes scripture readings and prayers designed to bring comfort, assurance, and hope. Our weekly prayer service is held in the Chapel.

Accessibility: We offer large print hymnals and Bibles, a magnifying sheet for use with our bulletins, and hearing assistance devices for our traditional services. We now have Hearing Loops installed in the Sanctuary (on the main level only) and in the Fellowship Center on the Holden Rd Campus. If you have a hearing aid with a "T" (telecoil) setting, you can enable that setting to hear the service broadcast directly through your hearing aid. If you have questions about the compatibility of your hearing aid or need assistance changing your settings, we recommend that you speak with your audiologist. If you notice any issues with the hearing loop functionality, please report them to staff so that we can make any needed adjustments to this new system.
